Figs....

Now, what on earth do you do with two figs?
Two figs a newton does not make.
Maybe a drizzle of balsamic vinegar on a bed of salad greens will do the trick.
I'll let you know.....

  1. Have just been catching up here and really enjoyed my stay. Sorry I can't help you with your problem though, I have never eaten figs.

  3. Let us know what you decide--I have to admit that the only fig I've ever seen was "a Newton!" Am I city girl or what??!!:-)

  5. Next time you are grilling: Take your two figs. Cut them in half. Spread each cut side with blu cheese, then wrap prosciutto around the half covering the fig and the cheese. Pop on the hot grill for a few seconds, turn once, and voila! Four tasty appetizers. If you're not grilling I'm sure you could do this under the broiler as well.
