Paula, it's actually a bluebird house, I think. The previous owners had put two out back and bluebirds do use them. And, this is the first owl I have seen here. We hear them ALL the time, but, never see them. So, yes, very cool! Do you happen to know what kind of owl it is?
Toni, I'm so jealous that you have a Barred Owl!! We had one last year that I just loved!!! I have hoped it would return but so far nothing--I keep hoping!!

ReplyDeleteIs that REAL? How beautiful. We sometimes hear an owl at night, but have never seen one and have no idea what kind it might be.
