What I've been up to......

See this beautiful venue?

It was the start to the month of the "wearing of the green" , which means Irish Music Month.

Two and a half months of intense rehearsals, working 60 hours a week, plus just trying to get a good nights sleep has been on the itinerary.

Other than that, life goes on.  Finnegan turned 7, Fionnghuala turned 4, it's been a year since Shane's crossing the bridge, today marks year 6 here at the homestead.

Life truly does go by in a blink of an eye.

On another note, I was up at our friends at Green Akeys Farm to pick up some lamb and I got to finally see ol' Chanticleer the rooster.  Unfortunately I did not get a picture, but, wow, what an incredibly handsome rooster he turned out to be.  He has his own little harem of ladies by his side and appears to be quite happy which makes me very happy indeed!

Lots of new here, but, I'll have to save that for a more peaceful time to share.

In the meantime, have a peaceful Friday, y'all......

  7. Hello Hilde!
Yes, I've been busy and am now embracing a huge change in my life. In a little over two weeks we'll be saying goodbye to our little homestead and moving onward to fewer pastures. I hope to post a final blog about my Narnia before we go and maybe, just maybe, I'll have time to blog again after the move! Thank you and everyone for stopping by. Happy Solstice!
