Tonight we had spinach and lentil patties with spinach, garlic scapes, green onions and cilantro all from the garden, followed by fresh strawberries and cream for dessert - hurrah for gardens!
YOUR food certainly is beautiful. How proud you must feel to sit down to food you have grown and prepared yourself... and how healthy and fresh! Congratulations! Cheers Helen
I totally agree. Home grown food always tastes so much better. I've just picked some 'fresh as a daisy' peas to add to the home grown lollo rosso salad leaves and chives. Meanwhile, chicken (not from the garden!)is roasting nicely with a smattering of sage from the herb garden. Strawberries to follow - sweeter and juicier than any shop bought ones!
