Two words I hate.....

Tornado Warning....
We were spared.
I've been through two of them in my adult life.
These two words have instilled a primal fear of survival when I see them flash on my TV.
My thoughts now are of those around us.
I hope they were spared, too....

    Hello Toni! Growing up in Kentucky I have the same fear of "those words" that you do! I'm so glad you are safe!!! I was thinking of you earlier as this latest storm was blowing through--Loudoun Cty just got the edge of it, and as I write this the sun is out--I know Maryland isn't so lucky. While I'm thankful for the rain, I could do without it all coming at once! ~Stay safe!!~

    This goes to show how removed I am from living in Florida- I didn't even know there was a storm out there to worry about!

    I can only imagine how scarey it is to live with the threat of a tornado. Glad you are safe.

    I saw the aftermath of a tornado that came near my mom's cabin in Alberta, and that was bad enough. I'm happy to know you're safe and sound.
