This photo was taken on the road to Clifden.
Memories of music, seeing an old acquaintance, and making new friends .
The view from Diamond Hill in Connemara National Park.
A good stretch of the legs in the brisk, morning air.
Nothing but peace and quiet surround you.
How can you not fall in love with this beautiful place?
How can anyone NOT fall in love with Ireland ?

I've never been there, but I have family and friends who have and love it, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful! The Carl Sandburg home here in the NC mountains is named Connemara. The surrounding hills reminded the original owner of his homeland in Connemara, and based on your photograph I agree.
ReplyDeleteWishing I was there too...sigh. Have you been to Westport? I love that little town. My family is from Bantry.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful day to you,
Laura
