It was my chiropractor who saved my bacon and it took about 6 weeks of regular treatments to get me back in order and then I went once a month for a while. At least I did that in the winter...I can't imagine being laid up in the spring. You poor girl! It's hard to believe now but you WILL feel normal again and faster than you think as long as you take it easy and don't do anything to get yourself in trouble again. Hang in there...it will all be ok. All the best to you.
Maura XMaura @ Kisiwa Creek Photographyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10992187526413563417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7918006271992283131.post-58611336824172520152011-03-30T20:33:55.010-04:002011-03-30T20:33:55.010-04:00Oh, Toni! They are awesome! Too many people go under the knife with injuries and there is so much a chiropractor can do. I know how hard it will be to be patient with yourself when the garden is calling, but it will survive.

Have you read The Resilient Gardener by Carol Deppe yet? Her focus is on building a garden that can handle large stresses (like climate change) and smaller stresses (like you being out of commission for 4 weeks). It gave me a lot to think about given that a flare-up of arthritis that keeps me from working always seems to be waiting around the corner. It might make good reading while you're waiting to get back into the garden!Miriamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04500606532723836054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7918006271992283131.post-36691733028924591142011-03-30T14:18:55.475-04:002011-03-30T14:18:55.475-04:00So sorry you hurt your back, I know what it feels ...So sorry you hurt your back, I know what it feels like.I am like you I just hate waiting to get something done, If I have a bag of planter mix and mulch I know I should wait for my hubby.
